National Disability Insurance Scheme

What is the NDIS?

  • The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is a national framework designed to help support people under the age of 65 suffering from a disability. The scheme was introduced to provide better access to a range of services and supports to ensure participants, families and carers are able to enjoy higher quality life.

  • The NDIS has many supports in place to best assist the needs of NDIS participants, all of which have the aim to help each participant with a disability to achieve their therapeutic goals. These goals can range from improving health and well being to community participation and even providing greater employment opportunities.

NDIS Service Agreement

In our initial appointment, we will get to know you and your goals. During this session, we review the details of your NDIS plan and together we establish achievable goals in relation to your management. We aim to provide clear expectations around the support our clinic can provide podiatric supports. Completing a service agreement provides you with clarity around the services you will receive under your NDIS Plan. These agreements are encouraged by the NDIS to ensure both the participant and podiatrist have an understanding of what will be achieved in these sessions.
